Welcome to Our Sunday Café, we are pleased you stopped by for a visit. Today we are offering another delicious recipe from our kitchen. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did…
The preparation is easy, mix the meat up, roll into a few meatballs and let the oven do the rest. Before you know it, dinner is ready. Of course, they go great with rice, but don't let the flavors of these meatballs lock you into any side dish, they will go great with just about anything you serve them with, so just enjoy this easy dinner and sit back for receiving some compliments...
Hoisin Beef and Sesame Meatballs |
Please excuse the photo above, like all food that is naturally brown in color, it is not a photographer's delight for getting a good photo. And due to our busy schedule here lately for working with our real estate agent to get our house sold, I actually served our dinner from the baking pan.....
Hoisin and Beef Sesame Meatballs
adapted from: bake it with love
400-degree oven
1 pound lean ground beef
1 egg
1 clove garlic, minced
1 t ginger or 3 t fresh chopped ginger
1 t toasted sesame oil
1/3 c panko or regular breadcrumbs
1/4 c rice vinegar
2 T soy sauce
1 t toasted sesame oil
3 T hoisin sauce
Combine all the ingredients for the meatballs. Mix well and form into 16 meatballs.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until done in your oven.
Combine all ingredients for the sauce, drizzle over the meatballs and serve.
You could garnish with toasted sesame seeds or thinly sliced green onion unless you are also busy with a pending sale on your home. If you are, they taste really good served right off the baking pan...
Enjoy!

These sound really good. And I always bake my meatballs too -- it's a trick I learned from a friend of my mom's when I was in college.
