30 Minute Honey Almond Granola, no refined sugar!

Welcome to Our Sunday Café, we are pleased you stopped by for a visit. Today we are offering another delicious recipe from our kitchen. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did…

Eating granola for breakfast is so easy, especially when you can make up a large batch and enjoy it for days on end! And granola keeps very well in a lidded container, I have yet to have a batch get soft or go bad. It is also a great way to get your daily dose of heart-healthy fiber.

I make two flavors of granola, this Honey Almond and Maple Walnut. We enjoy both and I try to have both available. These two granola recipes in the cupboard are enough variety for us because it is easy to change things up a bit by adding dried or fresh fruit.

Yet I rarely do, I usually eat my fruit separate. One of the things I did not like about commercial granola was the addition of dried fruit. This recipe for 30 Minute Honey Almond Granola is a revised recipe using only natural sweeteners and no refined sugars, just like the 30 Minute Maple Walnut Granola. I hope you give these new granola recipes a try, they really are delicious!

Bake 15 minutes, stir well, bringing contents from the corner of the pan to the center, and from the bottom of the pan to the top.

Bake 10 more minutes, stir once again, bake the final 5 minutes is a deeper golden brown color is desired. Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, stir gently, let cool completely. Transfer to a lidded container, keep sealed tightly for freshness.

  1. I love making granola because I like controlling the ingredients. This one with molasses sounds very tasty,

    1. Adding the molasses is a great way to get that "brown sugar" flavor without using refined sugars, this is a wonderful granola, I hope you give it a try.
